THE temperature on Sunday will drop to about 12 degrees Celsius in Shanghai with a strong cold front from the North expected.

Temperatures will plunge to less than 10 degrees downtown and will be even lower in the suburbs, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said yesterday.The cold front will start affecting the city tomorrow night, bringing drizzle on Saturday morning. It will be overcast from late Saturday. The daily temperature will drop gradually from today's 20 degrees to Saturday's 14 degrees and lows will drop to 11 degrees on Saturday, the bureau said.
